One of the many strengths of Boise's business community is the accessibility to business support and resources.  The publication Boise Business Resources is available as general guide to services and organizations ready to help Boise business owners and operations.  Who to Call at City Hall is another available publication.

Mayor Bieter and the City of Boise's team of Department Directors are dedicated to being available and accessible for Boise business leaders.  To supplement the traditional methods of communication between local business and City Hall, the Office of Economic Development has established an ongoing outreach program.

Mayor's Business Forums are held throughout the city and are designed as larger group meetings organized on a geographical basis.  Mayor Bieter is joined by representatives from the Boise Police Department, Planning & Development Services, and Public Works for these "town hall" style meetings.  The events have been well attended and have provided a forum discussion and brainstorming with area businesses.

Mayor's Business Roundtables are held in various locations and are arranged for either a specific sector, such as the Boise Sports Business Roundtable, or for a small group gathering based on a specific business district such as the State Street Business Roundtable or the Vista Area Business Roundtable.

The Mayor also conducts one-on-one Business Visits, traveling to company sites for tours and sit-down conversations with local business owners, operators, and employees.  These visits are held throughout the city and planned six to eight weeks in advance.
