Incubators & Centers

     

Boise startup companies have a number of operations when it comes to exploring business incubators and accelerators.  The City of Boise has partnered with Boise State University to open The Greenhouse, an incubator with a focus on clean energy companies.  The WaterCooler was the first incubator and has a growing list of successful "graduates," including Inovus Solar.  Another recent addition, Nebula Shift, focuses on funding and product development for new companies in its space.

The business support system in Boise includes Boise State's Small Business Development Center, TechHelp, Sage Community Resources, SCORE, Idaho TechConnect and the Small Business Administration all located in Idaho's Capital City.   A Business-Friendly climate also means access for entrepreneurs to connect with local leaders in the public and private sector.  The Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce and the City's Office of Economic Development can be the conduit for such meetings.
